I accidentally booked an Alaska Cruise through Avoya Travel, was assigned to agent Elise Luteran who bullied me into purchasing items that we could've done without, she never discussed any possible alternatives for usI asked her to re-assign me to another agent, which she told me she would do.I've been calling Avoya Travel customer service for the last week, & there is not documentation of any re-assignment.Each call from Avoya Travel has left their customer service toll-free phone number for me to call, when I call customer service I am told that they cannot assist me with obtaining another assigned agentI will never book with Avoya Travel ever again, hope others will be advised how low Avoya Travel assistance is, and not book with them to prevent this from happening to them

I booked a group cruise for 8 people spending over $20,000.00. Offers that were supposed to be part of the purchase either were not honored or they fell short of being fulfilled. Stay away from their new plus package if you have a 21 year old adult and a person between the age of 19 and 21 in a shared room. Double check all confirmations you are sent. Take no one's word for anything. Check out all rooming policies on your own before trusting them to make the reservations. Bring copies of all paperwork with you and make sure your cruise travel agent is knowledgeable and not a newbie. Do not expect any help from the on ship customer service. They will tell you to contact Norwegian main office or your travel agent when you get home and your trip has become a bad memory to the person who paid for it.

They assign you a travel agent who never answer your emails or rarely answer phone calls. The main office never picks up the phone to help you and since the travel agent they assign you hardly ever answers your email regarding your already booked cruise you're up a creek. Don't use these guys.

Two major points here one very unorganized. Now that being said part of me wonders if they were just trying to get more money out of us. As we had booked but the agents keep on asking for final payment when communication had been sent we did pay in full. Which bring me to the other point many members in our group were scammed out of money up words of thousands of dollars. When he pushed back about a refund he was told your cheque is in the mail and can take up to 30 days to receive it. Would never use them again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. My take away watch your credit card for unexpected transactions.

Abbey was great! She was very quick to respond to emails or phone calls and very personable on the phone. It really felt like I was booking a vacation with a friend of mine. There was a mix-up on our airfare, and she was very transparent about that and was working hard to get it fixed until we told her that we were fine with the change. She truly cared about us and our experience. I will be using Avoya again in the future!

My spouse and I were looking for a kind of last-minute get out of Michigan and the snow cruise and Tamara helped us tremendously. She found us exactly what we were looking for and assisted with finding our onshore excursions as well as giving very helpful tips on for our experience. She went above and beyond our expectations.

I never write reviews but I am very disappointed in avoya. I booked a cruise with friends using one of their agents. I usually use another company but my friends found Rainer so I went along with it. I wasn’t sure if I would actually be able to go on the cruise because I was also looking into a trip for my mother’s birthday which falls in the same time frame. After multiple conversations with the agent I opted to put the deposit down even though it was non refundable. I was advised that I could rebook as long as it was on another celebrity cruise but would lose $100. I was ok with that…. What I didn’t know was that I would have to rebook with avoya. I decided not to go on the original cruise and placed a hold on a cruise with an agent/company that I know and have used in the past as requested by my dad. This agent assured me that it shouldn’t be a problem to transfer my original booking and deposit to her agency as long as it’s within 30 days. She said they do it all the time. However it has turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Avoya will not transfer the booking!!!! I am now going to lose the entire $450 because I would rather lose my money then give the booking to avoya. Just so unprofessional. Luckily my other agent is helping me to get onboard credit so it’s not a total loss for me.

Patricia made our booking experience on Windstar seamless. She was able to get us the best price for our trip and the rooms we wanted. She recommended hotels for our stays before and after the cruise. She was very prompt in returning phone calls and kept in contact via email as well.
