I was sent flowers, they were dead. We agreed a credit to my account and they sent it to the sender's account. The sender is hurt, upset, embarrassed and I think a bit angry with me. What a disgraceful thing to get wrong. I get flowers twice a year from a certain person from Appleyard, and they have never once been alive.

I received Appleyard flowers for my Birthday and they were absolutely beautiful. I’ve subsequently sent bouquets to friends and they have raved about them.Appleyard will now be my go to place for flowers.

I’m genuinely shocked at how poor the quality of flowers from Appleyard Flowers has been—especially given their positioning as a “luxury” brand and claims of being one of the best online florists in the UK.My first order was for my mum on Mother’s Day, and several stems were already in bad condition. She had to throw some of them away the very next day. After I raised this, I was given a refund in credit, which I used to place a second order for my brother.Unfortunately, the second bouquet was just as bad—if not worse. Four of the roses were completely wilted on arrival, one of the lily stems had two blooms missing and had clearly been cut off, and the rest of the bouquet was generally poor quality and nowhere near what you would expect for the price.What makes this worse is how embarrassing it is to send flowers from a so-called high-end florist, only for the recipient to receive something that looks cheap and poorly put together. These are gifts that are meant to feel special, and instead they’ve caused disappointment twice.At this price point, this is completely unacceptable. When you market yourself as a premium or luxury florist, there is an expectation of consistently high standards. In reality, I’ve received better quality flowers from a supermarket at a fraction of the cost.I’ve now had to contact them again regarding the second order, which says everything about the lack of quality control. While customer service may respond, it doesn’t make up for the disappointment of sending gifts that feel subpar and unreliable.I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering—based on my experience, the quality simply does not justify the price.

We were recently disappointed by the mother's day bouquet received from Appleyard Flowers. Many of the roses remained tight shut even after several days despite following their care instructions carefully on receipt. This unfortunately meant that a small looking bouquet for the price remained looking small and insignificant. This is in contrast to a M&S roses bouquet around the same time which bloomed beautifully at a lower price point which left us even more disappointed with Appleyard Flowers. Unlikely to order again.

£55 for 10 Peonies. Such a shame and such a poor bouquet for the money. I could have gone to M&S and got the same for £15. I have ordered from Appleyard previously and been happy with the product. But this is just very very poor.

After ordering with apple yard for a couple of months now I must say they are really amazing! not a single delivery I made has arrived at the wrong scheduled time, their punctuality is amazing and they always bring new fresh flowers my gf loves. And their staff has always been respectful and understanding when we emailed.

I have sent a lot of flowers using Appleyard but decided to treat myself as the peonies, roses and lilies appeared an eclectic combination! They were beautifully presented and the flowers appear of amazing quality such a contrast to supermarket flowers which are not a great deal cheaper.The delivery was smooth and I was kept informed of the timing. I am beyond thrilled with the flowers. Thank you soo much!
