The products took forever to arrive, one garment was entirely different to what was ordered, the other the sizing was too small and I had already ordered a bigger size than required. The quality of garments was poor.Returns, what a nightmare - I did return and seems like no refund is coming, they are blaming me. Do not buy from this company, not worth the hassle

Shopped with Amara for years only had one bad delivery before where a bowl was smashed I advised them and they sent me a box of 4.I order regularly or used to as after today’s experience I won’t be anymore. Part order landed absolutely wrecked packaging and all the boxes smashed and torn, 2 of the 4 candles smashed and glass everywhere. I was on the chat for ages gave all info and got cut off twice they just don’t progress it just send a pic of your chat and make you do it all again no offer of refund/collection of faulty dispute 8 photos being sent documenting all the damage. Appalling customer service.

NEVER buy from Amara London. They say you can return your item (mine was a swimsuit that did not fit) but you then discover you have to send it at your own expense to an address in China. My tracked return arrived in China but was kept waiting for some months to be cleared at Customs. You can email the company and AI will respond but nobody seems able to resolve problems with Customs. 3 months later my package was returned to me from China! Seems it never got past Customs, presumably because the delivery address provided to me does not exist.

The initial ordering (june 25) easy and delivery in a few weeks however very poor quality and so I sent them back. Ive been waiting 9 months for a refund and they dont reply to my emails anymore. They claim they are stuck in customs but over a month ago they couldnt be found in customs so this is no longer factual. Dont use this company.

Wish I'd seen the reviews before I purchased two swimsuits from this company.Like others, my order took ages to arrive , when it finally was delivered I was dismayed to find that the items were of very poor quality and not as advertised (there was no tummy control as promised - fabric was extremely loose) I contacted Amara straight away to organise return of the goods and arrange for my money to be returned to me. I had a reply offering that I keep the goods and receive a refund of 15% of my payment - I replied that the offer was no use to me as the items were not suitable for me to wear.I then received instructions on how to return the goods - which I carried out exactly as requested. I was promised full refund and return of the postage (overseas!) After many weeks the parcel has been returned to me!! During the waiting time I contacted Amara to request my refund, but surprise surprise - they have not replied!! Someone should really stop this company from being allowed to advertise!Its months now since my initial order and I am giving up all hope of getting my money back, so thought I'd due a very rare thing for myself and write a review in the hope that I save anymore people losing money to this thieving company!

What a frustrating and disappointing process to return an order that was damaged and poor quality. Despite providing proof of return, which was processed through their portal. After several weeks all I have is frequent emails saying this is under investigation. It goes without saying that my days of shopping with Amara are over.

I will never purchase from this company again. The photos looked beautiful, but after waiting several weeks, the dress I received was very poor quality—the fabric felt cheap and plastic-like.When I requested a return, they repeatedly offered alternatives even though I clearly stated I only wanted to return the dress. I ultimately paid $32.05 (including tax) to return the item to China on 01/05/25. To this day, I have not received my refund despite multiple follow-up emails.I now have no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company. I do not recommend this company and would caution others unless they are willing to risk the same experience.

Do not buy from this store. They are not based in London but China so if you want to return goods you have to pay a huge amount to return. Then my parcel was returned as undelivered.

Had to send goods back to China at my expense ( no hassle free returns as stated ) £23.00. The parcel was kept in customs in China for three months no one would accept it SCAM probably scam address, was sent back to me this week, I’ve emailed Amara several times this week no reply for some compensation. Do NOT contemplate getting any shoddy goods from this company as you would have to pay a huge amount of money for return and then it will end up back with you after three months with no compensation for you

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! SCAM SCAM SCAM. Ordered 2 items, Aug ‘25 £56. Horrible quality, huge complications but eventually returned to CHINA! Cost me £26 but I thought it was the only way I was going to get ANY money back. Parcel stuck in customs for months. 29th Dec ‘25 there was a knock on my door and there stood a postman RETURNING MY PARCEL TO ME! SCAM SCAM SCAM
