Terrible customer service

I used the part finder tool on the Advance Auto Parts website for my Subaru, which confirmed the part was correct. It did not fit. When I tried to return it, the process was incredibly difficult and frustrating. Be very careful trusting their online compatibility tool. Also be prepared for the fact that customer service is clearly used to ignoring customer concerns

Advance auto parts district 4411 is a awful district. This district is being mismanaged, The District manager, is not professional. I have never experienced anything like this, Advance Auto Parts is not holding the District Manager over this District accountable, if you are not within his click, then you will be skating on thin ice. Columbus ga,phenixcity alabama stores . Sad these locations within this district are mismanaged, The District manager is not a good leader.

Advanced auto parts

Advanced auto parts, North Wales road in North Wales. I purchased a 24 and a 19 inch latitude windshield wiper blade. According to the website for rain X, they come with a one year warranty on specific. Types, I spent $30 per each waper blade. I came back to get them replaced before my year is up. And they told me no, because I had to take out an extended warranty, this is a scam. I will never shop here again. So if you do come here , be careful of what you buy and ask about warranties , but i'm done here , I'll go to autozone , people are more polite

They are a scam

They are a scam. I’ve been waiting nearly 15 days for a refund on an order I purchased with my debit card, yet they still haven't returned my money. To make matters worse, they later claimed they issued the refund as a gift card—one that I never actually received. They scammed me out of $44.05 after I made an online purchase and subsequently returned the item at one of their physical stores.

I bought a part online

I bought a part online, said it'd arrive within 3-5 days, a week went by and no part. I looked at my order status and it was 'Pending', I contacted customer support who said it was out of stock, not sure I wasn't notified, and no idea when it'll be back in stock and no other alternatives. I checked it online and it is STILL FOR SALE. I asked the agent about that and they said it didn't show as available to them and offered me a $10 coupon...To use on their e-commerce site that is stuck in 2000 so I can in all likelihood have another bad experience? No thank you. I lost over a week's worth of time for a time sensitive issue. Thanks for screwing me over Advanced Auto Parts.

We needed a battery replaced!

We needed a battery replaced, and we had already been to several other large auto stores, but they turned us away. Before I got done paying they had it replaced! I was very impressed. They were super polite and nice, they just took care of us! I couldnt say enough about them!

Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare…

Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare gem, hard working and personable. I was taking my wife home from surgery and my battery light came on. I stopped at advance auto and Luther gave me a new battery ( mine was a few days out of warranty) and dead, Luther could have charged me but didn't ,said he wanted me to get my wife home safe. what a guy, at 81 i'm thankful people like Luther are still around. God bless Luther.'

NASTY Lakewood NJ branch

I went to the Lakewood NJ branch to get blades since there is a huge sign that they install the blades. The guy behind the desk was extremely nasty and barked at me that there was no one else in the store SO I CANNOT. When I asked him if blades are no less then $60 he said yes. Right near those there were blades for $30. Finally another 2 guys came in. When I asked one of them to help me he nastily replied "NOT IN THE RAIN" [It was lightly drizzling]. These guys are nasty and gave me a horrible start of my day!! A real disgrace. DO NOT USE THEM!

Bought a new battery

Bought a new battery, over $200, was bad in less than 6 months. Returned to the same store where purchased only to offered a 'new' battery warranty because even though I only had the battery 5 months, if I used the warranty it would be VOID. They would not refund the purchase so I could go else where. I took their old DEAD battery and used it for a core at Auto Zone, who by the way, HONORS their battery warranties!
