My sister-in-law used to use them at her house, in New Cannan, CT, and she told me about them. A Great Company Again!

I am a long time customer of this company. They always were a reliable company with good products. They had problems earlier this year with new inventory software issues. These issues seem to be resolved. I placed an order on 10/28, received an email about shipping not long after and received my shipment on 10/31. For anyone who had problems with orders earlier this year (including myself) I would recommend that they try this company again. They are a great, reliable company again!

Reputable Company with Great Customer Service

They had an inventory issue a few months ago that irritated many customers who left bad reviews, but they have made up for it since with great pricing, discount codes and an apology. I had a delayed order due to this inventory issue, and when I called, an actual employee answered, apologized, and gave me a more than fair discount on the delayed item. I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service from a knowledgeable person. This is a reputable company that I am happy to support. I just placed an order this week, and it shipped within 24 hours. Arriving in a few days. Will be happy to support this company.

Excellent Raised Beds and Service

Over the past 3 years, I have been creating a 50’ x 50’ raised-bed garden from beds and other garden supplies ordered from Gardener’s Supply Company, The products are holding up very well and making gardening so much easier for me vs. when I planted directly in the ground. I have 28 cedar raised beds, mostly 4x8 and 4x12, with four 4x4. It makes it very easy to create the right environment for each vegetable or fruit and to rotate crops each year. The staff are always very helpful when I seek input.

No Customer Service!

I ordered a soaker hose kit for my 6’x10’ raised bed garden. The raised bed was not a Gardener’s Supply product. Ordering was easy. So was paying for it as my credit card was charged almost immediately. I was told to expect shipment of my order in “5 to 12 working days” as I recall. That’s when the problem began! As reported above ordering was easy; following up was not. Each-of 2-follow up calls resulted in a wait of over one hour and I received recorded calls advising me that “The employee owned company was working very hard to fulfill customer orders.” Simply not true!

WHAT Customer Service?

I've been a customer with Gardeners for over ten years, and mostly it's been a satisfying experience - the reviews were useful, the products priced reasonably, and there was actually customer service. Unfortunately of late, you can call the 1-800 number and enter a queue that EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL is a minimum of an hour wait. I'm not sure how that pans out, because who has an hour to sit on hold? Do they have more than one dedicated customer service representative? This isn't a fluke because hey, every morning for the past two weeks my anticipated hold time is between 52 and 64 minutes. ]So why not just email? Well, again lately, once you receive a confirmation of your initial concern, YOU NEVER HEAR ANOTHER WORD. Sure, you'll get an email confirming the receipt of your email, and then nothing. Nada. What is a customer supposed to do? CALL and be prepared to wait. Someone WILL be with you eventually. Really. And they will be helpful and patient and resolve your concern. This company is clearly going through changes (apparently not enough staff, new software, and lots of business). BE PATIENT (and kind). It's worth it.
