We needed a battery replaced!

We needed a battery replaced, and we had already been to several other large auto stores, but they turned us away. Before I got done paying they had it replaced! I was very impressed. They were super polite and nice, they just took care of us! I couldnt say enough about them!

Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare…

Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare gem, hard working and personable. I was taking my wife home from surgery and my battery light came on. I stopped at advance auto and Luther gave me a new battery ( mine was a few days out of warranty) and dead, Luther could have charged me but didn't ,said he wanted me to get my wife home safe. what a guy, at 81 i'm thankful people like Luther are still around. God bless Luther.'

Be careful before buying anything at the store in Manville, NJ. No warranty, no refund, no replacement, no store credit

The store should provide a new starter as a replacement for the old one on 02/09/2026 which does not work. There is a catch 22. The store can assess the old one and provide the new one by a warranty because the old one was installed 10 months ago. The store does not provide the new one without assessing the old one. But, mechanics do not exclude the old starter unless the new one is provided by the store. So, this trick is used by the store manager at 130 N Main St, Manville, NJ 08835, United States who does not provide a warranty replacement for the old starter. So, I had to purchase the new one and their online customer service said that the store should provide a store credit for the new one but the store manager in Manville, NJ would not like to return anything. Be careful, the store did provide no warranty, no any replacement by the new one, no refund, no store credit.So, the rating for the store is 0 of 5.In spite of it, I visited another NJ store, based on Customer Service’s advice, and they provided a full refund on 02/10/2026 and explained that the store manager at Manville, NJ did actions against the Advance Auto Parts’ rules.Because another NJ store fixed the issue by providing a refund, so I changed the rating from 0 to 5 for Advance Auto Parts

Awesome customer service

The customer service I experanced today was over the top! Jose H of the 401 N Frederick Ave. Gaithersburg Advance Auto Store was awesome! I needed assistance with my battery and he jumped in and worked everything out. I appreciate incredible service and he really went above and beyond. Excellent customer service

I had an outstanding experience at Advance Auto Parts store at Parksburg today. The representative who assisted me namely Damian was incredibly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help me, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensure I had exactly what I needed. Damian customer service was exceptional rare to find these days and truly made my visit a pleasure. I left feeling confident and well taken care of. This review is for advanced Auto parts in Kannapolis 28083. My experience today with the store was truly amazing. I walked in that front door and everyone is just so friendly it was unbelievable. The young lady that helped me was just so friendly and just made you feel welcome in that store. And the young man outside who changed my battery was just so thorough and cleaning everything up and making sure everything was working good before I started my car. He also was just so friendly and it was just a pleasure to deal with this store. Keep up the good work guys I will surely be back for any needs that I might have for my car. Thank you

Issued full refund on 2 year old battery with no receipt

Had a dead Diehard Platinum battery bought in Lewisville Texas at the store at 1991 lakepoint dr by friends who are not car people. They didn't have the receipt for the battery but when I went to swap the battery for them I noted the 8/22 manufacture date. So the battery, regardless of purchase date, was still within a year of the 3 year warranty. I made my case to the manager and they worked to research the purchase and issued a full refund for the replacement battery purchased the day before. I have had other returns with Advance Auto Parts in Dallas off Northwest Highway and 635 and that store also worked well with me and had no problems with the return of oil recommended for my german vehicles but wasn't exactly right. I was able to get what I needed and the other big two auto parts stores don't carry the oil needed for those vehicles. I think its just as important to note what went right as to note what went wrong. My thanks to the people at both stores.

I went into the store because my alarm…

I went into the store because my alarm and my truck wasn't activating, due to getting wet from rain,windows left down,I thought a fuse was all I needed,the gm ,his name is zane,came out the store with testing tools and proceeded to find out exactly what it was,he was very professional and knowledgeable, I really appreciated the attention to detail and walking me through the problems.
